ATD Software ("we," "us," or "our") operates atdsoftware.org and the Taskmaster and Quartermaster software applications (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Services.

Information you provide directly

We collect information you provide when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact us, including:

• Organization name and department
• Billing information (processed and stored by Stripe — we do not store payment card details)
• Any data you enter into the Services (work orders, asset records, team members, etc.)

Information collected automatically

When you access the Services, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and usage patterns. This is used solely to operate and improve the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
• Process transactions and send billing communications
• Respond to support requests and customer inquiries
• Send administrative notices (service updates, security alerts)
• Improve and develop the Services based on how they are used

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest via our infrastructure provider, Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store or access your payment card information. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Work order and asset records are permanently logged as part of the product's core accountability functionality. Please review this before entering sensitive data.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Services (such as infrastructure hosting and payment processing), subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ATD Software, our users, or the public.

You may have the right to:

• Request deletion of your personal data

We use a single session cookie (atd_session) to maintain your logged-in state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may instruct your browser to refuse cookies, though the authenticated portions of the Services will not function without the session cookie.

The Services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active customers by email of material changes.
